Description

Jiefang shoes were worn in the early 1950s by the People's Liberation Army of China, which shifted from wearing cloth shoes to Jiefang shoes, with the beginning of China's rubber industry. Jiefang shoes have become the main shoes of our army, wearing them for over 50 years.

For over 50 years, it has played an important role in military operations, training, production labor, and daily life. Due to the use of pure cotton material to make the upper and lining of the release shoes, which are not sturdy, soldiers often wear five or six pairs of release shoes in a year. In addition, release shoes have poor breathability and moisture permeability, which can easily breed bacteria and often emit unpleasant odors. Some soldiers even suffered from athlete's foot infections, which affected their training.
